MEET THE DEAN
An undergraduate program in nursing and a graduate program in physician assistant studies are being developed by St. Bonaventure University's School of Health Professions.
Dr. Connie Perkins, founding director of nursing at SBU, was an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and a registered nurse at UPMC Cole in Coudersport, Pa., before coming to St. Bonaventure in the summer of 2018. She is developing St. Bonaventure's undergraduate program in nursing, which hopes to begin offering a nursing courses in the fall of 2019. Learn more about Perkins from Buffalo Business First.
Dr. Keith Young is founding director of the graduate program in physician assistant studies at St. Bonaventure, which is also in development. He, too, arrived on campus in the summer of 2018. Previously, Young served as a clinical associate professor of physician assistant studies at Clarkson University, where he served as chair and program director of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. Young was named New York's Physician Assistant Educator of the Year in October of 2018
