An article by Dr. Nathaniel Mason, assistant professor of counsel education, has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision.

 

The article, titled, "The Task-Oriented Developmental Model of Supervision: Facilitating Comprehensive Supervisee Development," combines two models of supervision (integrative developmental model and cognitive-behavioral therapy supervision) used for both graduate students in counseling and those in residency. 

 

The new model allows for a more structured way to develop supervisees' self-awareness, multicultural competencies, and skill development.
