Annual Move Out Sale to benefit university's Franciscan Center for Social Concern

May 11, 2022

St. Bonaventure University’s annual Move Out Sale will be held May 16 to 18 in the Richter Center on campus.

The sale is organized by the Franciscan Center for Social Concern and raises funds in support of direct service programming.

The sale will be open to the public from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, May 16; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17; and from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 18.

Each year, the FCSC holds a massive garage sale with items students donate when they leave for the summer. Student volunteers will collect, organize, and sell donated goods. The Move Out Sale is coordinated by the FCSC with the primary goal of raising funds for its various service and outreach programs, such as Bona Buddies, the Warming House, Silver Wolves, SBU@SPCA, the SBU Food Pantry, and many others.

The Richter recreation center is located on the south end of campus near the Reilly Center.
