Only about 100 campuses have received this designation since the program began in 2008. Norton Elementary School to raise money for the people of Japan. "Green" townhouse results exceed expectations The first full semester of sustainable living in half of Townhouse 23 has resulted in a 47 percent drop in electricity usage. Energy efficient lighting and appliances were used in the townhouses that also saw a drop in natural gas usage.
