Place your order now for SBU history book, “The Good Journey”

Experience the extraordinary history of St. Bonaventure University! "The Good Journey: 150 Years of History at St. Bonaventure University" is more than just a historical account. Based on the exhaustive research of longtime St. Bonaventure history Professor Edward Eckert, Ph.D., and edited by the McCarthy family of Buffalo — alumni Bob, ’76, Ann, ’74, and son, Dan, ’10 — the 160-page coffee table book contains more than 250 photos, some dating to the university’s infancy in the mid-19th century.

Advance orders are now being taken (sbuhistory.com) and copies of the book will be available in early June for Alumni Reunion Weekend, but advance orders can be placed online with Franciscan Institute Publications. Advance publication orders — those placed by June 11, 2011 — will receive free shipping. The book retails for $45.

Learn more about the history book — and view the historical videos and photos — online at sbuhistory.com. New materials are posted frequently; follow us on Twitter with the #BonasBook hashtag or on Facebook at http://facebook.com/bonaventure.
