Italian stage star to open North American tour at SBU
Dr. Michael Chiariello last year invited Italian stage actor Mario Pirovano to St. Bonaventure to perform his highly acclaimed one-man interpretation of "Francis, The Holy Jester," written by Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo.
The invitation ended up launching a two-month tour of the U.S. and Canada, beginning with the North American premiere of "Holy Jester" on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at St. Bonaventure's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts. It's one of the highlights of Francis Week.
