| The Campus Activities Board, working in conjunction
with the Center for Activities, Recreation and Leadership, is
responsible for bringing laughs and entertainment to SBU.
The
board gathers information on talented performers and speakers across
the country and selects the best of the best to perform at the
University.
After
extensive planning, production and advertising, the guest appears live
at SBU for the student body's enjoyment. After all, you need something
else to do besides homework, right?

diverse and educational extracurricular programs to students throughout

These events serve not only as entertainment for students, but also as real-life learning experiences outside the classroom.
