A welcome from Rob DeFazio, director of Intramurals and Club Sports

The Intramural Department at St. Bonaventure looks forward to another year of intramural and recreational activities. Each year we strive to exceed the results from the previous year. 

Intramurals is one of the reasons we are such a tight-knit campus. Over 80 percent of students participate in some intramural, recreational, or club sport activity.

Intramurals brings together the entire community to participate in friendly competition. 

The program offers a variety of sports and activities in an attempt to have something for every type of student.

The Campus Recreation/Intramural and Club Sport Program includes a wide variety of competitive sports, engaging students at different levels of competition and providing for almost every talent and interest. 

In addition to intercollegiate sports and intramural programs, SBU offers club sports. The purpose is to provide extramural/intercollegiate competition for recognized club sports, although some are solely for recreational or instructional purposes.

Participation is open to students carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.  Students interested in starting or participating in club sports should contact the Director of Club Sports in the Richter Center at 716-375-2190.  To find out more, click below.
