Sacrament of Marriage

Marriage is years away for most college students, but it's never too early to understand and discuss the value of marriage so that when that day comes, young people can enter into healthier unions.

The For Your Marriage Web site puts a modern face on the timeless tradition of marriage with refreshing, up-to-date information, quizzes, daily tips and video clips. You'll learn the Church’s teaching on what marriage is and how to make it work. 

For those who want to be married on campus, please read the St. Bonaventure University Wedding Policy.

Music Ministries at St. Bonaventure

This group of singers and instrumentalists
gathers for prayer, community and song. They serve at Sunday Masses (and other festive occasions like the Opening Mass, Transitus and Baccalaureate Mass) by leading and enhancing the song of the larger community.  Rehearsals are one hour before each Liturgy in the University Chapel.

Servers, Sacristans and Greeters

Anyone who would like to assist at Mass as a sacristan, server or greeter is also invited to join our liturgical ministries.

Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers

This is a group of people who share their gifts through proclaiming the Word or
"Breaking the Bread" as we gather at the table of the Lord at Mass.

Prayer Opportunities on Campus:

• Morning Prayer: Friary Chapel,
  M-F at 7:30 a.m.
   
• Evening Prayer: Friary Chapel,
  M-W & F at 5:15 p.m.
   

 Prayers are not held during the summer while students are off or away on a break in the Friary Chapel.
