Internships
Internships afford majors in sociology and social sciences with the opportunity to experience how the social sciences are related to a variety of careers. By participating in one or more of the internships offered in the department, students gain firsthand information on how certain occupations (e.g., social work, human services, law enforcement, etc.) function and whether the students would like to pursue this career after graduation.
