High schools students invited to #BonaOpenHouse during three fall events at St. Bonaventure

Oct 01, 2015 |

High school students are invited to take a closer look at life as a St. Bonaventure University student, inside and outside of the classroom, at upcoming open house events on campus.

Prospective students and their parents can choose from among three open house events to learn why St. Bonaventure was named the No. 5 best college value in the North by U.S. News and World Report:

  • Saturday, Oct. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

The events give high school students time to interact with future professors and classmates, discover St. Bonaventure’s outstanding academic offerings, learn how the university will assist families through the admissions and financial aid processes, participate in a student life fair and tour campus with a student ambassador.

The November Open House will highlight the university’s competitive club sports programs and give students an opportunity to meet the teams and coaches.

“Open House offers families the opportunity to connect with St. Bonaventure to hear more about our extraordinary academic programs, extracurricular activities, and service opportunities, as well as our Career and Professional Readiness Center,” said Bernard S. Valento, vice president for Enrollment. “Not to mention that the campus is full of activity and absolutely beautiful during this time of year.”

For more information or to register, visit www.sbu.edu/OpenHouse or call toll-free 800-462-5050.

St. Bonaventure has more than 50 academic program offerings, including new majors in cybersecurity, environmental studies, professional & creative writing, and industrial management.
