School of Health Professions sets Research Symposium for April 23 at SBU

The Dennis R. DePerro School of Health Professions at St. Bonaventure University will host its annual Research Symposium featuring student research projects on Tuesday, April 23, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the University Conference Center in Doyle Hall. The event is open to the public.

The symposium will feature research projects from undergraduate students in the nursing, health science, and public health programs and graduate students in the physician assistant studies and public health programs. Research topics include “Gender/age for Narcan administration in WNY?”, “Body Composition and Functional Strength,” “Effects of Animal-Assisted Therapy on Autism Spectrum Disorder,” “On-Campus College Healthcare Services Mental Health Challenges,” and “Sense of belonging for LGBTQIA+ SBU students.”

Students will be present to answer questions about their projects during the event.
