Dedicated to Professional Success
As a parent, you play a critical role in the professional development of your child. The Career Planning Course for parents outlines ways in which you may encourage your student to engage in positive professional development throughout the undergraduate experience.
The Career and Professional Readiness Center at St. Bonaventure University is committed to helping your student achieve academic success and career satisfaction. The Professional Development Action Plan (PDAP) provides a strategy for career readiness. Students participating in this career development experience will progress through the steps of self-assessment and discovery (Emerge), professional engagement (Engage), and transition to post-graduate experiences (Evolve).

At the CPRC, our career counselors welcome any questions your student might have regarding career or life planning. Events are scheduled throughout the year to facilitate continued career development and vocational assessments are administered to encourage career exploration. We also recommend that all students adopt their Professional Development Action Plan early in their academic journey. |
