Educational theories have sparked a variety of approaches that have been applied to the ministry of religious education. This course explores some of the key theoretical models of religious education and evaluates the strengths and weaknesses of each approach. The course, while exploring some of the key theoretical models of religious education, will focus substantially on pastoral experience, including how the model of religious education in pastoral situations is more of a collection of approaches than merely one type of approach.
