Make a difference, Walsh tells SBU graduates
Former Syracuse congressman James Walsh told those who sat where he did 41 years ago at St. Bonaventure University to not look back on their lives with regret. Walsh was one of three to receive honorary degrees at Commencement in the Reilly Center Arena.

Kevin Cilano of Greece, N.Y., and Sheree Ortiz from Queens were recognized for their post-Commencement volunteer service plans. Cilano was selected for the Franciscan Volunteer
Ministry; Ortiz will serve for a year
with Chicago-based Mercy Home, a home for
at-risk children.
