| More than 300 incoming St. Bonaventure University students participated in a Day of Service Saturday, Aug. 25, by volunteering their time and energy to help out around campus and in the community. Students cleaned up the Allegheny River Valley Trail near campus, planted ground-cover at St. Elizabeth Motherhouse, relocated a library at Archbishop Walsh Academy and Southern Tier Catholic School, painted a corridor at Creekside Chapel in Allegany, and helped out at another 11 locations in the Olean-Allegany area. Students also helped out at Mt. Irenaeus, the Franciscan Retreat in nearby Allegany County. For more Service Day photos, go to www.sbu.edu/bonaflickr. |
