This camp provides a perfect opportunity for a multi-cultural experience. Students from different countries will stay in the same dorm with the US students, take classes and interact with the US students in this weeklong camp. Because of this unique feature of this camp, the topics and activities are diverse.
The theme of the camp is on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Students will learn how forensic scientists identify a suspect based on different evidence from a crime scene, how diseases spread, how antibiotic-resistant “superbugs” form, and accomplish a group aerospace mission at the Dresser-Rand Challenger Learning Center!
Other topics include college applications, study skills for a successful college experience, leadership and public speaking.
The International STEM Camp is supported by Siemens.
