St. Bonaventure students participating in the Salamanca, Spain, program were invited to the City Hall of Salamanca for a farewelll reception on Thursday, June 26. The students were welcomed by Julio Lopez Revuelta, deputy of culture and tourism for the city of Salamanca, and joined by other international students from the Colegio de España in Salamanca. Students participating in the SBU Spanish Immersion Program at the Colegio de España also had the opportunity to travel throughout Spain from Madrid to Andalucia, as well as Portugal, to enhance their cultural views. They were also in the country during a historical event — the coronation of the new King Felipe VI de Bourbon.
