At the core of the University’s Asian collection are porcelains, ivories, jades and bronzes from the estate of Col. Michael Friedsam (1858-1931). A new installation unites these with six important items of Chinese and Korean antiquity on long-term loan from the Arthur M. Sackler Foundation.
