Learn the profession by practicing it.
Dream of getting a front-page byline or covering a Division I sports team? Not afraid of asking top officials tough questions? Are you good at capturing the essence of an event in a single photograph? The Bona Venture has been the campus outlet for talented individuals like you since 1926, and was just ranked the No. 15 college newspaper in the country by The Princeton Review (2015 guide).
The BV, with print and online editions, welcomes students of all majors and class years. You can write for one of four major sections (News, Arts & Life, Opinion and Sports), take photos, solicit and create ads, or work in our business, marketing or online sections. No journalism experience? That's OK. We'll teach you.
The BV is published weekly. Funded by the university, it is student-run, operating independently of any of any academic school or department.
