St. Bonaventure University alumni Michael Fossaceca and Kevin Cleary have been named to the university’s Board of Trustees.
Fossaceca, Class of 1988, is managing director and region head of Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions business in North America. A business unit of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group, Treasury and Trade Solutions provides integrated cash management and trade finance services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations across the globe. Fossaceca has been in this role since August 2014 and is based in New York.
Fossaceca has more than 28 years of treasury management experience and has developed and implemented innovative treasury management solutions for clients globally. He joined Citi in 2009 as head of Corporate and Public Sector Solution Sales in North America, where he managed global sales and client management activities for U.S. multinational corporations.
Prior to joining Citi, Fossaceca served as global sales executive in the Global Treasury Services business at Bank of America and led Corporate Sales in the Americas for Treasury Services at JPMorgan Chase. In addition to leading global sales organizations, Fossaceca has managed technical client service teams and consulting and advisory organizations.
Fossaceca sits on the Board of Directors for the National Automated Clearing House Association, Junior Achievement of New Jersey and Mt. Irenaeus. He was elected to a three-year term on the St. Bonaventure Board of Trustees.
In addition to his BBA in finance from St. Bonaventure, Fossaceca holds an MBA in management from Columbia University.
He and his wife, Christine, live in Scotch Plains, N.J., and have two daughters.
Kevin Cleary has more than 16 years of sales and marketing experience in the consumer packaged goods industry, with a focus on the beverage category while employed at Nestlé Waters North America and The Boston Beer Company.
Cleary worked at Nestlé Waters North America for 13 years, most recently as senior manager of Community Relations, where he was responsible for the development and maintenance of community relations, investment, and volunteer programming. Prior to that role, he managed responsibilities related to Nestlé Waters North America partnerships.
He has been an active volunteer at his alma mater, including serving as the president of the New York City Alumni Chapter and as a volunteer for the SHARE program and the Bonaventure Fund. He was a member of the Bonaventure Athletic Fund Advisory Board and was the 2016 keynote speaker for the Bonnies4Bonnies networking event. Cleary also serves on the Board of Trustees of Mt. Irenaeus.
Cleary, who has been a member of the university’s National Alumni Association Board since 2015, was appointed its president in June for a two-year term.
Cleary graduated from St. Bonaventure in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and earned an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University.
He and his wife, Janine, live in Norwalk, Conn.
