The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Daniel Ellis has been named associate dean of St. Bonaventure University’s School of Arts and Sciences.
An associate professor of English at St. Bonaventure since 2009, Ellis begins his new role in support of Dr. David Hilmey, dean of Arts and Sciences, on June 18.
“Daniel will be a tremendous asset to the School of Arts & Sciences as we fully integrate the new General Education curriculum at St. Bonaventure,” said Hilmey. “Dr. Ellis brings a wealth of experience in general education and assessment to this position. His leadership and communication skills are ideal to lead this critical component of our university.”
Chair of the English Department from 2015 to 2017, Ellis will administer and oversee the university’s General Education curriculum and assist as needed with other duties within Arts and Sciences. He will work with Hilmey to schedule, staff and assess the curriculum and serve as the central point of communication for the Gen Ed curriculum.

Clare College was phased out and transitioned to a revamped General Education curriculum in the fall of 2017.
“I can’t thank Dr. Guy Imhoff enough for his work as dean of Clare College the last four years, and his remarkable dedication in helping us make this transition to a new General Education curriculum as smooth as possible for our students,” Hilmey said.
