The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The International Honor Society for Professional Counseling, Chi Sigma Iota, has inducted four members from St. Bonaventure University.
The inductees are graduate students pursuing their master's degrees in counseling. They are: Jody L. Babb, Nicole Calbi and Christopher David Dockey, all of Olean, N.Y.; and Chelsea L. Fitzpatrick of Hinsdale, N.Y.
Dr. Mary O. Adekson, faculty adviser of the Phi Rho chapter at St. Bonaventure, inducted the new members on March 18.
Phi Rho is directed toward students, professional counselors and counselor educators. For students to be eligible they must have a grade point average of 3.5 or above and be enrolled in a graduate-level counseling program.
According to the Chi Sigma Iota website, the organization was created for counselors-in-training, counselor educators, and professional counselors whose career commitment is to research and service through professional counseling. Its mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.
