St. Bonaventure University’s Jazz Ensemble will hold its spring semester concert in the Rigas Family Theater of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9.
The group will perform contemporary jazz songs including “The Perfect Storm,” “Theme from Family Guy,” “Lucky Boy” and others, as well as originals written by the band’s director, Dr. Les Sabina, professor of music.
The group has spent the semester preparing for the program through a one-credit course offered at St. Bonaventure.
“I’d like the community to come and support SBU students who participate in music activities,” Sabina said. “Also, it is a nice way to relax and get away from the grind of studying.”
Admission is free, and the performance will last one hour.
