Mulryan delivers paper at Modern Language Association convention

Jan 20, 2014 |

Dr. John  Mulryan, Professor Emeritus, delivered a paper at the Modern Language Association (MLA) convention in Chicago in January.

He challenged the idea that John Milton was the sole author of the theological text, the Christian Doctrine. The MLA is the central organization for English and foreign language professors and has been in existence since the late 19th century.

Mulryan, whose areas of expertise include Milton, mythological tradition, Renaissance literature, and medieval literature, is a past president of the Milton Society of America.
