Financial aid is an important part of the transfer process. 

At St. Bonaventure, we award Transfer Academic Scholarships to students who achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.25 or better, based upon the official transcripts from all colleges attended.

St. Bonaventure University Phi Theta Kappa/Honor Scholarship 

A student in class.For those students who have excelled in their studies, and who have participated in either Phi Theta Kappa, international honor society for two year students, or any recognized academic honor society, St. Bonaventure offers a $500 scholarship, in addition to any merit scholarships, for those students who have participated in such honor societies and can show proof of membership. This scholarship is renewable annually.
 

St. Bonaventure Enchanted Mountain Transfer Scholarship 

If you are a graduate from a high school in Potter or McKean counties in Pennsylvania or Cattaraugus or Allegany counties in New York, you may qualify for an Enchanted Mountain Transfer Scholarship if your overall college point average is 3.0 or better AND you have completed at least 24 credit hours at another college/university.

The award amount will be $12,500.  It is renewable annually, in the same amount, provided that a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average is maintained.
 

St. Bonaventure/Jamestown Community College Transfer Scholarship 
If you are a graduate of any of the Jamestown Community College campuses (Jamestown, Olean, Warren or Dunkirk), or have completed at least 60 credit hours toward a degree at any of the four campuses, you will qualify for a scholarship if your overall grade point average is 3.0 or better.

The award amount will be $12,500 ($9,300 SBU JCC Transfer Scholarship/$3,200 SBU JCC Transfer Resident Scholarship - students must reside in campus housing to receive the "resident" component of the scholarship).  It is renewable annually, in the same amount, provided that a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average is maintained.

All transfer scholarships require full-time attendance, and a student cannot receive a transfer scholarship from more than one category except for the Phi Theta Kappa scholarship.
