Some students are surprised to learn that St. Bonaventure University offers opportunities to study at 38 colleges and universities in 27 foreign countries, and that they do not need to speak a foreign language study abroad.
St. Bonaventure students have many opportunities to study abroad, ranging from programs during the summer, such as the Summer Study in Perugia, Italy program and the The Francis E. Kelley Oxford Program. They find additional opportunities for semester-long programs held in a wide range of countries, to include Ireland, Italy, Spain, Australia and many, many more. See the complete list of available nations and study options at the International Studies page.
Most programs require little or no language experience, and you can study abroad and still graduate on time. You will receive academic credit that will count toward graduation in our programs and scholarships are available to assist students seeking to study abroad.
