The Office of Disability Support Services offers students a wide array of academic and personal support services to aid their personal growth, ability to self-advocate, and academic success.
It is the university's goal that as a result of services provided by the Office of Disability Support Services and the Teaching and Learning Center, students with disabilities will learn to:
- set realistic goals and priorities for course work
- advocate for their rights as students who qualify to receive services and accommodations
- understand and be able to discuss their disabilities with faculty members
- study effectively and efficiently through use of appropriate study strategies
