St. Bonaventure University holds two Sunday Masses, at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., in the University Chapel, located on the west side of campus. Students are encouraged to participate in Mass by joining in music ministry and liturgical ministry.
Each Sunday, students share the Word of God as lectors, fill the University Chapel with music as vocalists or instrumentalists, and serve as Eucharistic ministers. People are always needed to fill these positions. No previous experience is required, and training is available. All are welcome.
Music ministers meet one hour before Mass to practice together. Students play everything from the trumpet to the piano, in addition to singing. No audition is required.
