Fr. Daniel Riley, O.F.M., Guardian of Holy Peace Friary
E-mail: driley@sbu.edu
Fr. Dan, a professed friar since 1970 who was ordained a priest in 1971, has had the joy of being a member of the Mountain community from its very beginning. The Mountain is a special response to this renewal of the Church and a place of peacemaking, an effort that has been a part of Fr. Dan's life since he was an undergraduate at St. Bonaventure.
Fr. Dan was also involved in founding the Campus Ministry at St. Bonaventure and continues to play a vital role both on campus and with his ministry at the Mountain.
Fr. Dan enjoys painting, gardening and continues to have a great hunger for prayer and a life of itinerancy, taking "the Good News of Jesus Christ" on the road to others through "Mountain on the Road."
