Installing the Sophos virus protection is not all that you need to do to keep your computer and your data safe.
You should also patch any holes in your operating system that can potentially put your computer at risk from attack or infection.
When the Windows Update page loads click on the Express Update button.
After scanning, you will be told specifically what updates need to be done, we are only concerned with the critical updates needed by your system. We do not recommend doing any of the other updates (Driver or Standard) as they may cause problems with your system.
Select the critical updates and follow the website direction to install the selected updates.
