The Visual and Performing Arts are a necessary element in the quest for wholeness of a liberal arts education. Whether an individual is a creator or a spectator, the arts engage us in a dialogue of perception, imagination and reflection of the most basic human experiences. It is these shared human experiences which provide meaning for our own being and secure in us a sense of community.
