Richard (Dick) P. Kearns, ’72, who retired in 2010 as chief
administrative officer at Zurich Financial Services Group, told St. Bonaventure
students that their grounding in the Franciscan tradition and the SBU
connections they cultivate can be keys to success in the international business
community.
Kearns took questions from a panel of students representing
various majors in the School of Business. The event was held in the Rigas
Theater of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
Kearns began his career at Price Waterhouse in 1972, was
admitted as a partner in 1984. He was appointed leader of global partner
affairs following the merger that created PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998.
He joined Zurich's senior management team in Switzerland in
2002, and continues to serve as a senior advisor for the firm.
