McQuade will share with accounting and finance majors his experiences in the business world beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Robert R. Jones Board of Trustees Room in Doyle Hall.

McQuade assumed the role of CEO of Citibank in August 2009.  His responsibilities include corporate governance and franchise management of Citibank in 101 countries, as well as oversight of Corporate Audit and Corporate Compliance departments of Citigroup.

A veteran banker, McQuade has held executive positions at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America Corporation and FleetBoston.

During the campus visit, McQuade will also meet with School of Business faculty to review plans for the McQuade Center for Accounting Excellence.

The McQuade family recently committed $2 million to establish the McQuade Center for Accounting Excellence endowment, which will provide funding for scholarship aid, student programming and recruitment of faculty within the School of Business. The gift is a significant step in helping the University to reach its goal of $15 million for the construction of a new Business Center.

A 1971 graduate of St. Bonaventure, McQuade holds a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in accounting and is a CPA.  He served as a member of the University’s board of trustees from 1998 to 2007. Currently, he serves as director of XL Group plc, an Ireland-based insurance and reinsurance company.
