During March 2010, my book of poems called “Lifebeats” was published. It contains more than 140 poems that collectively portray my passions in life.
The title “Lifebeats” is an acronym I created to organize my poems within the following chapters: Love, Inspiration, Family, Education, Beauty, Episodes, Army, Travel, Sports. The poems based on my life experiences work to reveal my passions.
Now fully retired I spend much of my time enjoying my five grandchildren, cycling many miles with friends, traveling the world to satisfy my thirst for and better understand history and cultures, working out in the gym, watching sports, tending to my spiritual needs, leisure learning, and attending theatre.

I have many passions. Pursuing them truly fuels my life — one into which the Good Lord has infused blessings that have clearly filled my treasure chest.
My time at St. Bonnies were great years that served to grow and strengthen my persona. My current love for poetry indeed might have been seeded by the English Lit course I completed while at SBU.
