Even before I entered St. Bonaventure, I’ve always loved to write. Today I am still doing that, writing press releases for The Public Relations and Marketing Group in Patchogue, N.Y.
Ever since graduation from Bona’s 20 years ago, I have never given up on my passion for writing — whether it was writing about the high school football game, an interview with the biggest names in the nightclub industry, reviews on the latest CD releases, the state of the ink manufacturing industry, the latest imaging techniques used in the operating room and on the battlefield, town board meetings, or poems for the local literary magazine.
My careers may have changed, but my love for writing has not.
I spent four years as a sports writer and editor at The Bona Venture, three years on the yearbook and my senior year as a contributor to The Laurel. I also credit my professors at Bona’s, who pushed me and helped me succeed.
