Kristy Kibler of Varysburg, N.Y., a 2011 graduate of St. Bonaventure's Russell J. Jandoli School of Journalism and Mass Communication, attended the Francis E. Kibler received the 2011 Mark Hellinger Award, St. Bonaventure's highest honor to a journalism/mass communication major. During her time at St. Bonaventure, she served as editor-in-chief of two campus publications, The Bona Venture student newspaper, and The Communicator. She also co-hosted a campus radio show and contributed to The Arm, a campus creative writing group.
A French minor, she was inducted into Kappa Tau Alpha, the National Journalism and Mass Communication Honor Society, and Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society.
Kibler is an editor for Neighbor to Neighbor News., Inc., a locally owned group of family newspapers based in East Aurora, N.Y.
