St. Bonaventure University is showcasing the creativity of its alumni in an online Holiday Gift Guide.
Open to alumni who create, make and sell products and services, the inaugural guide provides a wide assortment of gifts from custom woodworking and jewelry to digital illustrations and organic body care products.
“The concept for this online guide arose early in 2013. So, while the sun shone brightly in the sky and the leaves were green upon the tress, visions of sugar plums, arts and crafts, and customized experiences were dancing in our heads,” said Monica Mattioli, executive director of alumni operations at St. Bonaventure.
Initial traffic to the site since launch has been high, Mattioli said.
“The winter holidays are a time for giving gifts and spending time with loved ones. The guide is loaded with popular gift choices that should help to ease the stress and frustration of last-minute shopping,” she added.

This project is a free community service to St. Bonaventure alumni and transactions are handled directly with the vendors themselves. Additional alumni vendors are added on an ongoing basis, so shoppers are encouraged to visit the site often for updates.
