At St. Bonaventure University: The job skills that companies, graduate, and professional schools desire from a chemistry major come from research experience. SBU chemistry offers this experience right on campus through research projects in our professors' areas of expertise. While receiving elective credit, you can perform chemistry research never attempted and develop critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills that employers desperately seek.
Local internships outside of campus: SolEpoxy is a leader in specialty thermoset epoxy compounds delivered with processing and end-use technical support. St. Bonaventure students have the opportunity to apply for an internship with SolEpoxy and work with this global company at their Olean facility.
