In a fast-paced, dynamic business environment, organizations need leaders who can manage strategically in challenging times.
To meet this need, St. Bonaventure University’s School of Business is partnering with LBL Strategies of Chicago to offer a 13-module online certificate program beginning Jan. 25, 2016. The 10-week program concludes the week of April 4.
Called Strategic Management, the program is designed for professionals who lead, manage or have direct responsibilities tied to the development and implementation of strategy. The program includes an understanding of the skills and tools necessary to facilitate all phases of planning, implementing and evaluating a strategic process.
People looking to build a pathway to a professional certification and career development in strategic planning and management would also benefit from this opportunity, said John Stevens, faculty member in the Management Department at SBU.
Program participants will be engaged online with LBL Strategies, the company that developed the program. St. Bonaventure and LBL Strategies will jointly award the certificate for successful completion of the program.
Some of the program modules include:
Limited to the first 20 registrants, the program costs $1,695, which must be paid by Jan. 18, 2016. The university intends to offer the program in the spring and fall of each semester, Stevens said.
