 Primary Concentration 12
    Students will choose a primary concentration from among the four concentrations below, taking that concentration's required core course (3 credits) and three elective courses (9 credits). The courses must come from at least two different disciplines.
 
 Secondary Concentration  9
    Students will choose a secondary concentration from among the four concentrations below, taking that concentration's required core course (3 credits) and two elective courses (6 credits). The courses must come from at least two different disciplines.
 
 Foreign Language  3
    The foreign language must be taken at the 202 level or higher. 
 
 General Education Requirements  37
    The General Education curriculum, a 37-hour program to help students appreciate a liberal arts education, includes required specific courses as well as selected courses from various distributions. For details, go to GENERAL EDUCATION.

Requirements for a Minor in International Studies

For non-majors, the following 21 credits constitute a minor in International Studies:

To declare a minor, a special form must be filled out and filed with the Records Office by the end of the student's junior year. The appropriate form is available from the student's adviser.
