PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Mark is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with nearly 25 years of consumer and business-to-business experience in the financial services, healthcare, cultural tourism, restaurant, retail and legal sectors.

As a member of the marketing team at M&T Bank for more than 18 years, Mark progressed to the position of administrative vice president of marketing and communications. Among other responsibilities, he played a key role in the evolution of the M&T brand, established the bank’s direct marketing and internal communications functions, and managed all customer communications activities in support of 14 bank mergers.

Mark also served as chief marketing officer for HealthNow (Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY and BlueShield of Northeastern New York). In this role, he managed all marketing functions including product development, advertising, public relations, direct marketing, employee communications, market research and competitive intelligence, web development, sales support, sponsorships and community affairs.
