A survey of the history of the United States from Reconstruction to modern times. The course focuses upon the social, economic and cultural growth of the modern United States in the setting of traditional political events. Emphasis is given to the growth of business, Progressive Reforms, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, the World Wars and post-war America.
