This course provides an examination of the leadership and curricular roles and responsibilities of teachers of literacy. It stresses competencies in the development and management of the literacy curriculum, management and evaluation of materials and resources, personnel relations and the development of collegial support, inclusion and other legal issues for teachers, and school-wide planning and support for literacy.
