How to reserve a campus location for your event

The Event Management Office will facilitate your room reservation request. Whether you’re planning a meeting, conference, lecture, dinner or social, contact our office to reserve a venue for your event.

 

 

These venues are available:  

 

 

Doyle Dining Room  

Doyle Hall 

Doyle Dining Room provides a warm atmosphere for conference and dining needs. It can accommodate up to 135 guests at round tables. Chairs may be set up theater style to accommodate up to 175 guests.
   

R.R. Jones Trustees Room  

Doyle Hall  

The Trustees Room offers a professional atmosphere and is ideal for most group events, such as meetings, receptions, press conferences and seminars. Choose from round tables, eight-foot banquet tables or theater-style seating. This room is also able to meet most audio/visual needs.
   

San Damiano Room 

Francis Hall 

The San Damiano Room, a former chapel, can accommodate up to 290 people in folding chairs, but can also be set up with round or banquet tables. This multipurpose room is perfect for weddings, receptions, lectures, comedy shows, classes and group training exercises.
   

Francis Room 123 

Francis Hall 

This informal meeting room comfortably seats 25-30 people around tables set up in a U-shape. The room is equipped with audio/visual needs
   

RC 211/213 

Reilly Center 

Reilly Center Room 211/213 is an informal room with tables and chairs set up in a U-shape. The room comfortably accommodates 20-25 people in the U-shape arrangement, and an additional 10 people in the back at round tables. Television and VCR are stationary.
   

Falconio Hall

 

Rooms 122/123, 124/125 and 126/127: Each room offers informal meeting space for 25-30 people. The rooms are not equipped for audio/visual presentations.
   

Walsh Amphitheater  

William F. Walsh Science Center 

This ground-floor amphitheater comfortably accommodates up to 152 people in fixed, cushioned seats. It is equipped for audio/visual presentations.
   

Dresser Auditorium 

John J. Murphy Professional Building 

This facility provides an ideal setting for larger meetings and conferences. Theater-style seating can accommodate up to 430 people, and the room meets many audio/visual needs. Smaller classrooms surround the auditorium for groups and seminars ranging from 15-36 people. Also nearby are a Macintosh computer lab and Windows computer lab.
   

Regina A. Quick 

Center for the Arts  

Rigas Family Theater: This fully equipped theater has 321 fixed seats and space for approximately 10 wheelchair patrons and their companions.

 

Garret Theater: Located in Devereux Hall, this intimate theater seats approximately 114 people.

 

The Loft: Located on the third floor of The Quick Center, this open space is perfect for informal social gatherings or a study space for students.

 

Also Available: Dresser-Rand Atrium, classroom 203 and chorus room 211.

   

Athletics Hall of Fame

Reilly Center 

Located at the south end of Reilly Center, the Hall of Fame houses SBU Athletics plaques, trophies and memorabilia. Its south wall, with floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooks the McGraw-Jennings athletic fields, while on the north side is a room overlooking the RC Arena. The hall can accommodate up to 50 people at round tables, or up to 75 in chairs arranged in rows. Technology and catering are available upon request.
   

Reilly Center Arena 

Reilly Center 

The Reilly Center Arena, home court for the Bonnies (men's and women's basketball teams) offers chair-back seating and courtside bleacher seats for 5,780 people.
   

Thomas Merton Center 

University Ministries 

The Merton Center, home of University Ministries, feels like home -- a place where small groups can meet, study, eat and celebrate in a comfortable atmosphere. There is a piano, stereo system and movie projector. The kitchen and prayer room are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
   
University Chapel  The University Chapel, attached to Doyle Hall, can accommodate up to 250 guests. It hosts Masses, weddings, religious services and other group events.
   
The Clubhouse Restaurant  Located across the street from campus, adjacent to St. Bonaventure Golf Course, The Clubhouse specializes in breakfast and lunch meetings. It's spacious dining room, wrapped in a Colonial motif, can accommodate up to 150 guests and is perfect for dinner parties, christenings and other special events. The Clubhouse serves breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Weekends are reserved for banquets, weddings, anniversary parties and similar events. St. Bonaventure Golf Club  Located across the street from campus, this nine-hole, par-36 course is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. during golf season and may be reserved for private golf outings. Riding carts area available.
