Part of the process of creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and inclusion is providing a means to address conflicts and disputes when they occur. University policies protect against the discrimination and harassment of all members of the St. Bonaventure community. The university's Council on Discrimination and Harassment, Advocacy Officers, the Ombuds Officer and others are available to guide any student, staff or faculty member through the conflict resolution process.
