ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. — The Friends of Good Music concert season at St. Bonaventure University closes Friday, May 11, with a 7:30 p.m. performance by the chamber music ensemble Panoramicos at the university’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
Panoramicos is a prize-winning, internationally acclaimed mixed chamber music ensemble whose innovative programs feature commissions and collaborations with composers from the worlds of theater, jazz, contemporary, classical and world music.
The ensemble is in residence at the historic St. Peter Church in Cleveland. The group’s latest CD was praised by Gramophone magazine, which described it as “eclectic in the best sense of the word ... a top North American pick.”
