Mar 15, 2017 | A performance by Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s Big Band at St. Bonaventure University, postponed because of this week’s snowstorm, has been rescheduled.
The concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, in Rigas Family Theater of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts on campus.
Those with tickets for the original performance date, March 14, are asked to retain their tickets and present them at the door for admission to the rescheduled April 30 concert. Others seeking tickets, which are free, should call the Quick Center Box Office at (716) 375-2494.
Led by bass clarinetist and saxophonist Sal Andolina, the BPO Big Band features some 20 musicians. They’ll be joined on stage by Dr. Les Sabina, chair of St. Bonaventure’s Department of Visual and Performing Arts, on saxophone; and by vocalist Colleen Williams.
The concert is sponsored by St. Bonaventure’s Keenan-Martine Endowment, which provides grants to enhance teaching at the university.
