President Sr. Margaret Carney, O.S.F., today announced the appointment of Nancy K. Taylor, CPA, as St. Bonaventure University’s acting chief financial officer.
The appointment is effective Aug. 1. Taylor has served as university controller since 2008.
“Nancy is a respected professional with a depth of financial management expertise,” said Sr. Margaret. “We are grateful for her willingness to step into this critical leadership role during this time of transition for the university.”
Taylor replaces Brenda L. McGee, who has served the university for 17 years, the last 15 as senior vice president for finance and administration. In April, McGee announced her retirement, effective July 31.
While Taylor will provide interim financial leadership, Karl Strauss, senior financial analyst, will be acting controller, also effective Aug. 1.
