The Office of Marketing and Communications is located on the second floor of Francis Hall on the East End of campus. During the academic year, our office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Summer hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Nine St. Bonaventure University students were inducted into the Xi Delta Chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society Sigma Delta Pi.
The induction was held on April 26 and was conducted by the chapter adviser, Dr. Leigh A. Simone, assistant professor of modern languages. In attendance was the chair of the Department of Modern Languages, Dr. Alva V. Cellini, as well as faculty members Dr. Gregory Newall and Sr. Elise Mora, in addition to honor society member Kirsten Lankford.
The students inducted into the honor society were Kayla Back, Carolyn Becker, Maria DiSpigno, Adam Ditcher, Whitney Downard, Haylei John, Erin Ormsby, Mildred Recinos and Michelle Vick.
Founded in 1919, Sigma Delta Pi is the largest international foreign language society in the world with more than 540 chapters and the only honor society devoted exclusively to students of Spanish in four-year colleges and universities.
